In the fifth episode of “Boardwalk Empire”, Margaret has gotten frustrated and leaks important information to Van Alden about Nucky’s liquor business. This unfortunately results in smashed barrels of beer inside Nucky’s garage.
Meanwhile, on the traditional day of St. Patrick’s Eve dinner, Jimmy is in Chicago coping with an attack by Charlie Sheridan, Torrio rival. Arnold Rothstein is in New York, concerned and upset about the fixed World Series and his involvement in it, and a group of disillusioned “Leprechauns” are busy agitating Nucky, even as he tries to deal with his brother’s ambitions.
