Jimmy, who was just recently located in Chicago, tries to re-establish his families life. This does not please Lucky Luciano, and when Jimmy tries to pull a stunt on her Van Alden breaks up the party and brings Jimmy in on murder charges for the Hamilton Massacre. What Van Alden doesn’t realize, however, is that his main hand man is working with Nucky, and Nucky takes out the prime witness against Jimmy. Nucky then sets his sights on fixing the elections. While this is happening, Margaret does her own politicking, which leads up to a shocking denouncement on the boardwalk. This episode slowly builds up and ends with one of the greatest knock-outs of all time.
